Excellent Future Potential Study Book May 18, 2004 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
A real mind opener and a book you will pass onto your future loved ones in order for them to find that elusive Holy Grail of positive attitudes and creative hidden abilities that you never new you possesed.Keep it as a study book just like you would with a reference guide and don't throw it away or sell it on ebay. It is a valuable tool.
Simply brilliant January 21, 2004 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Before reading this book I had not realised that Tony Buzan, whose concept of mindmapping has made my work so much easier, is also an expert in physical well-being. Have been using his advice regarding 'poise' for several days and am simply overwhelmed by what a change that makes. It is too early for me to comment on the effect of his brain boosters, but if they are half as good as mindmapping and poise, then I will really be up to life's challenges.
One of the best books I have ever read July 29, 2003 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This book was utterly inspiring and I read it all in a day. The information is contained on the brain and how it functions was fascinating and the ideas on how to change those big bad habits really do work.I heartily recommend this book to anyone interested in achieving their potential.
Fascinating February 28, 2003 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I found this quite an inspiring read! Even though I've only just started to put some of the suggestions into practice it's already made small differences to the way I think about things. The explanations of how we're made and what we're capable of are staggering, and I have already found myself reconsidering activities that I've assumed for years that I was "naturally" bad at. The way the book is structured, with regular intervals where the reader has to actually participate in order to get the most out of it, force the information given to be taken in. Many of the suggestions and pieces of information given are obvious and self-explanatory, yet we never think about them! I would recommend this book to anyone who believes that they have any failings at all, who thinks that there is anything in their life that needs improving, who wants to hone their skills in any subject, or who simply wants to be reminded of what an amazing, wonderful thing the human form really is!
An amazing insight and incredible journey of discovery September 2, 2002 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Thoroughly captivating from the first page this book broadens your perceptions and challenges traditional thinking. There are few books that can claim to change your outlook on life. Tony Buzan is truly the 'Stephen Hawking of the mind'. I have no hastitation in heartliy recommending it to everyone - young and old alike.
